Richard M. Metcalfe II Memorial Fund

The Richard M. Metcalfe II Memorial Fund was created in honor of Rick Metcalfe, founder of Asset Marketing Systems.   Both personally and professionally, Rick valued family and education above all else.  He always professed that, “knowledge is power” and encouraged himself and others to continually feed their hunger to learn.  As his hard work garnered many blessings, Rick frequently gave back to others.  He took pleasure in helping those less fortunate within his own community, fervent that no economic restrictions would hinder the learning and educational opportunities of future generations.

Since its inception in 2003, the Metcalfe Fund has supported youths all around the world. Initiatives throughout Rick’s hometown of San Diego have supported drug prevention programs, extra-curricular activities, physical education, and life skills training.  The Metcalfe Fund has supported arts education across the country, and provided relief assistance to rebuild a library devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The Fund has built schools in Africa and Mexico, and hopes to continue to help the children of the world achieve a brighter future.

The Richard M. Metcalfe II Memorial Fund strives to maintain Rick’s legacy of giving and sharing.  With the support of generous donors, the Fund can continue to provide improved educational opportunities to children everywhere.
